Marlow Ashgrove
Expedition leader and landing planner
Marlow Ashgrove has led small-ship voyages along the Skerry Coast for more than a decade. He is responsible for every landing plan, every weather call, and the quiet confidence of a group that is learning to trust a changing sky.
Marlow believes that a good expedition feels unhurried, however carefully it was planned.
Professional Background
Marlow began as a deckhand on a coastal ferry and moved into expedition work after leading a group of students on a kayaking trip around Vesper Island. He joined Northlight as a landing guide and became expedition leader four seasons later.
He holds a fictional Master of Small Craft certificate and gives a regular talk called "How We Decide Not To Go Ashore".
